Job Description


The Bilingual National Leasing Coordinator will support National Leasing Agents in driving high volume leasing activities within an assigned region. This role will primarily focus on interacting with existing and prospective residents who speak Spanish to follow-up on leads, gather completed applications, structure leasing packages and schedule move-in orientations. S/he will translate company information for Spanish speaking residents, ensure all necessary fees are collected, communicate with field teams on property conditions, and comply to all local, state and federal laws pertaining to the completion of leasing activities.

  • Collaborate with National Leasing Agents to meet established leasing goals within assigned region. When needed, work closely with local Leasing Agents and Leasing Coordinators.
  • Represent FirstKey Homes to existing and prospective residents in a courteous and professional manner with a focus on putting the customer first.
  • Translate important company information for existing and potential residents who speak Spanish.
  • Assist existing residents wishing to transfer to other FirstKey properties.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws governing this industry, including the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and any other laws pertaining to real estate or leased properties
  • Assist National Leasing Agents with lead follow-up while staying compliant with the restrictions applied to non-licensed employees.
  • Process applications to gather necessary documentation and uploading documents to Yardi Voyager.
  • Send leases to residents for signature and upload fully executed lease to the property management software.
  • Schedule move-in orientations for residents.
  • Collect application fees, hold fees, and initial funds regarding applicant applications.
  • Communicate any home condition feedback to the local Senior Field Manager.
  • Assist National Leasing Agents with special projects, goals, and reports.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative or similar role
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient with speaking and writing in both Spanish and English
  • General knowledge of reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work


  • Experience using Yardi Voyager or similar property management program
  • Working knowledge of the following a plus: air conditioning, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, electricity, carpet, vinyl, windows, painting, and drywall
  • Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company
  • Proficient in Spanish, both reading and writing
