Job Description

Overview

The Technology Enablement Analyst will lead multiple process improvement projects across FirstKey Homes departments and disperse geographical markets to enhance technology effectiveness. This role will scope user requirements for new technology projects by defining business problems, mapping current practices, identifying inefficiencies and redesigning procedures and policies to increase the effectiveness of technology solutions. He/she will be leading business critical projects that require meeting strict deadlines and navigating the completion of projects in a fast-paced startup environment.



Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple technology enabling process improvement projects simultaneously across FirstKey Homes departments and disperse geographical markets.
  • Meet with business leaders to define business case, project needs and success requirements.
  • Collaborate with process owner and end-users to map out specific inefficiencies. Interview team members to establish user requirements and to write user stories.
  • Document and review policies, procedures, standards, and templates that govern system frameworks.
  • Generate process maps to depict how processes and information within and between organizational entities are connected. Create flow charts and swim lanes to analyze processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies.
  • Redesign and implement procedures and policies with assistance of process owner to address inefficiencies.
  • Leverage technical writing skills to create supporting documents and/or manuals. Select appropriate messaging for audience and use diagrams, charts, graphic and, animations to increase end users’ understanding of content.
  • Standardized and upload content across FirstKey Homes’ platforms and media to ensure end user accessibility. Gather and monitor usability feedback; revise content as issues arise.
  • Collaborate with learning and development team, as needed, to assist with curriculum development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience and/or education
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a process analyst or in a similar role that requires assessing, aligning and translating user needs of finite processes
  • Strong project management skills, ability to meet strict guidelines and navigate a fast pace environment that requires consistent follow-up with stakeholders
  • Experience with gathering user requirements and writing user stories
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
  • Advanced proficiency with Visio, Lucidcharts or similar applications to create flow charts and swim lanes
  • Proven ability to interface with business leaders across an organization to achieve business goals
